- Allendale Fire Department covers all 32 square miles of Allendale Charter Township from West of the Grand River to 96th Ave. and from South of the Grand River to Fillmore St. We also provide coverage to Grand Valley State University.
- The department consists of four full-time staff and almost 30 paid-on-call firefighters. The station is staffed with full time staff Monday thru Friday from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm, and the remaining time is covered by the paid-on-call staff. This schedule ensures service 24-hrs a day 7 days a week to the citizens of Allendale. All fire fighters are Fire I & II certified, have Hazmat Operations and are licensed as a MFR, EMT or Paramedic.
- Allendale Fire Department responds to Fires, Emergency Medical situations, Hazardous Materials incidents, Fire Alarms, Auto Accidents, and man other service calls.
